Empower the Future: Support Own Your Dreams Academy and SLYC Kidz
At Own Your Dreams Academy, our vision is to revolutionize the consulting industry with constant innovation and exceptional service that exceeds client expectations. Partnering with SLYC Kidz, a youth-operated cooperative founded by Milli Cannata, we nurture future entrepreneurs and advocates for sustainable living.
SLYC Kidz empowers youth to run their own businesses while mastering essential skills in sustainable living. Our mission is to offer comprehensive education and hands-on experience, providing a deep understanding of business operations across various industries.
We're excited to launch our first after-school program at the historic Monte Rio Theater in Monte Rio, CA, where children will gain practical skills in audio and video production. Additionally, SLYC Kidz is pioneering "The Conly Tool Closet," a community-driven initiative to provide tools and rental services, teach trades, offer workshops, and promote energy efficiency through a weatherization program. Our ultimate goal is to engage youth in transformative projects like converting commercial buildings into housing solutions.
Under Milli Cannata's leadership, as the director of The Conly Tool Closet and supporter of SLYC Kidz in operating a Deli/Cafe, we aim to establish an emergency home repair fund and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). These initiatives will enable community investment in emergency home repairs and sustainable commercial conversions, fostering a resilient and thriving local environment.
Together, Own Your Dreams Academy and SLYC Kidz are committed to equipping young minds to innovate, lead, and make a lasting impact on their communities through sustainable business practices and entrepreneurial spirit.
